Causes Of Extraction Of Teeth

The teeth are a very important part of any individual. This therefore calls for people to ensure that they keep their teeth in good condition so that they can avoid these problems that are associated with teeth. Many people think that the teeth are hard pars of the body but truth is that the teeth are very delicate parts of the body as they are highly vulnerable to a variety of infections that if not properly looked up on may have some bad effects on the teeth. One of the measures that is always called for when the teeth are in critical condition is the emergency tooth extraction.
Tooth extraction also known as tooth removal can be described as the act of removing decayed, damaged or problematic teeth. We as the dentists always try all we can do in our ability to be able and preserve patients natural teeth but in some cases that is impossible and the only option that we are left with is to conduct the emergency extraction of the faulty tooth. Extraction of teeth may be caused by a number of factors.
The first reason that may prompt extraction of teeth is the case of a crowded mouth. This is so especially when we need to align an individual’s teeth and that may turn out to be impossible due to the big size of the persons teeth compared to the mouth.
The second and most common reason for teeth extraction is in the case of an infection in the teeth. Extraction may be required especially if an infection gets to the pulp of the teeth.
The last cause of teeth extraction is extreme decay of the teeth. This happens when the teeth of an individual decays to appoint where the tooth becomes a risk to other teeth in the mouth.
